چکیده
Background: Invasive micropapillary carcinoma (IMPC) of the breast is a rare variant invasive ductal (IDC), with most cases characterized by lymph node metastasis and lymphatic vascular invasion. It cancer subtype very high risk recurrence therefore requires special attention from physicians radiologists. Case: We present case an IMPC that has been followed up for two years since diagnosis management. Based on clinical examination, ultrasound, mammography, initial was suspicious mass required further investigation. Radiological histological findings informed highly lesion, which turned out to be IMPC. The patient underwent surgery, left mastectomy nodal dissection. During 24-month follow-up, ultrasound mammography revealed no evidence local or involvement contralateral breast. Conclusions: This reveals distinct but poorly recognized carcinoma.

Background: Medullary breast carcinoma (MBC) is a unique histological subtype of breast cancer. The present study aimed to evaluate the classic and non-classic characteristics of MBC and its differences with IDC. The present review study incorporates 22 years of practical experience from a breast disease research center-based series of cases. Methods: Retrospectively, the medical records of 3,24...
متن کاملMaspin Gene Expression in Invasive Ductal Carcinoma of Breast
Background: The breast cancer is the most prevalent cancer among women, on the other hand absence of myoepithelial cells play a pivotal role in pathogenesis of this cancer. Thus we aimed to investigate the possible abilities of the molecular assay technique to find a relationship between mammary serine protease inhibitor (Maspin) gene expression possibly secreted by my...
متن کاملImmunohistochemical and clinicopathologic characteristics of invasive ductal carcinoma of breast with micropapillary carcinoma component.
CONTEXT A micropapillary carcinoma (MC) component is generally considered to behave aggressively. Although several reports have described the prognostic significance of MC in breast carcinomas, immunohistochemical findings of MC, especially as compared to non-MC, are rarely described. OBJECTIVE We compared clinicopathologic and immunohistochemical findings between 38 cases of invasive breast ...
متن کاملPrimary Gastric Invasive Micropapillary Carcinoma: A Case Report.
Invasive micropapillary carcinoma is a recently identified neoplasm. A 77-year-old-female was admitted to the hospital due to progressive loss of weight and nausea. Endoscopic biopsy of the antral/prepyloric located mass was diagnosed as moderately differentiated adenocarcinoma. Subtotal gastrectomy and regional lymph node resection were performed. The tumor was composed of moderately different...
متن کاملPure invasive micropapillary carcinoma of the male breast: report of a rare case.
Male breast cancer is rare. The most common histological subtypes include invasive carcinoma "of no special type" and papillary carcinoma. Other variants, including pure micropapillary carcinoma, have been described as well but are extremely rare. Pure micropapillary carcinoma has been recently characterized by a C-MYC gene amplification in women. We report here, occurring in a 73-year-old man,...
